BORROW, RETURN, & FINES AND FEES

Learn how to borrow books and resources from the FEUR Library. Follow these simple steps to access our collection and make the most of your academic journey.

BORROWING MATERIALS

Access our comprehensive collection with your FEUR ID and discover the resources you need for academic success.

Check Out at Service Desk

Present your FEUR ID to check out books, multimedia resources, and equipment at the library's service desk. Our staff will process your request quickly and efficiently.

Search & Hold Online

Use our online catalog to search for materials across all collections

Place hold requests if items are currently checked out

Borrowing Limits

Students: Can borrow 3 books for 7 days
Reserve Books: Overnight use only

Quick Tip

Pro Tip: Different forms may be required depending on the book collection. This also applies to soft copy materials and collections.

IMPORTANT BORROWING NOTES

Physical Copy Only

Materials can only be borrowed in physical copy format.

LMS Viewing Only

The material/collection can be viewed on the LMS, but can only be processed on the actual library.

Valuable Materials

Special procedures apply if the material is valuable or sensitive. Please consult with library staff for guidance.

RENEWING & RETURNING

Renewing Materials

Online Renewal

Access your FEUR library account online to renew materials instantly.

In-Person

Visit FEUR Marikina branch library desk for assistance with renewals.

By Phone

Call the library to renew your materials if you cannot visit in person.

Note: Most materials can be renewed if no one else has requested them. Renewal periods may vary by item type.

Returning Materials

Service Desk Return

Return materials directly to the service desk where you originally borrowed them. Our staff will process your return and update your account immediately.

Library staff are available to assist with borrowing, renewing, or returning items—simply ask at any service point or contact us online.

FINES & FEES

Understanding our fair and transparent policies helps you avoid unexpected charges while ensuring resources remain available for all users.

Overdue Fines

Standard Rate

A fee of ₱5.00 is charged per overdue book, per day. Fines must be settled before borrowing new items.

Maximum Fine

The maximum fine per item is ₱50.00. This cap ensures you aren't burdened by excessive charges.


Tip: You can check your account online to view your current fines and due dates.

Lost or Damaged Materials

Replacement Cost

You are responsible for paying the full replacement cost of any lost or severely damaged materials.

Damage Assessment

Minor damages may incur a repair fee. The library staff will assess the damage and determine the appropriate charge.

Remember: Please handle all library materials with care to avoid fines and ensure they can be used by others.
